Webb Companies is a family-owned Virginia corporation engaged in the development and acquisition of investment real estate in Virginia and Maryland. Due to a diversified portfolio of well-established income properties, a strong balance sheet, consistent cash flows and excellent liquidity, Webb Companies can capitalize on opportunities for new development or acquisitions during all phases of the real estate cycle.

The Company, which moved to new offices in Centreville, Virginia in November 2011, develops and owns retail shopping centers, office buildings, apartments, childcare centers and flex-industrial properties in Virginia and Maryland. Additionally, the Company has experience in the joint venture development of single-family and multi-family residential projects in both Northern Virginia and Maryland. Much of the Webb Companies success is due to strong, established relationships with partners who share a similar long-term vision.

Brief History

Webb Companies was established in 1982 by John C. Webb, a Fairfax County, Virginia attorney, builder and developer with more than fifty years of successful development experience in the Greater Washington, DC metro area. The Company serves as the Webb family’s primary, long-term entity for asset management, commercial and residential development and for equity investment in new business opportunities.

From 1983 to his untimely passing in May 2011, Michael M. Webb served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Webb Companies. During his tenure, the Company and its affiliates developed more than $500 million dollars of new commercial and residential projects and achieved significant growth in the net asset value of its real estate assets. After Mike’s passing, the Executive
